The Department of Health and Human Services Victoria (DHHS), now called Department of Health (DH), asked us to update some of the courses that they have on there moodle learning platform.
When we started, bushfires were raging, Victoria and in fact Australia was burning. Smoke arrived in Melbourne. This was no longer a problem out there in the bush. This was a national disaster. Little did we know what would come in the shape of a global pandemic just a few months later.
Education for the first responders, now super important.
And so much of the resources are still in Flash format. Totally superseded in the history of IT.
We worked the existing information of many courses into SCORM compliant data and moved it into moodle.
Hundreds of staff have since completed the courses and received certificates.
