NC AG asked us if we could create a workflow to batch-process an excel file into thousands of chart files.
We created a filter that converted the Excel data into an Adobe Illustrator XML data stream. The XML data for Illustrator needs to be exactly formed. (Illustrator is in deed very picky on its import.)
A batch-process would then cycle through the data, rendering a new chart every time and export a crisp looking Illustrator chart.
